Turkey hunting season brings alot of turkey meat in the freezer. Now we have to find recipes to use with the turkey. Or you may just go to your local grocery and buy up some ground turkey.
- 2 lbs of ground turkey
- half cup of finely chopped red pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups of water
- mix turkey, peppers, onion, add egg, bread crumbs.
- make into meat balls
- add oil to pan and heat to low
- cook meatballs gently and once they have browned add the water to the pan and cook on low until all the water is absorbed. Takes about 10 minutes.
