Easy Kids Meals

We are having burritos for dinner tonight.  I wanted to cook something that required the oven to warm the house.  It is really cold outside.  This is a fast and easy dinner and can be ready in 30 minutes.  We love sifting through the topping and choosing our favorites.

8 10 inch tortillas

Vegetable oil

2 chopped medium onions

2 lbs ground beef

2 tbls chili powder

2 tsps cumin- ground

2 tsp salt

Tomato salsa

Frozen corn

Cheddar cheese

Sour cream

Guacamole

Lettuce

Preheat oven 350

Wrap tortillas in foil and place in oven for 10 minutes to warm

Heat oil in pan, add onions cooking till soft, add beef and spices

Cook till meat is no longer pink

Drain excess fat

Add 3 cups salsa, 2 cups corn heat through

Add ½ lbs of cheese and stir to melt

Put some meat mixture on heated tortilla, add toppings and wrap
