Creamy Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal

As the cold crisp fall mornings are upon us, it is time to start making breakfasts that will warm the kids from the inside. This is one of their favorites.
Creamy Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal
2 cups of regular oats3 cups of water2 cups of milk2 tablespoons butter2 tablespoon brown sugar1 teaspoon cinnamon
Bring the water and oatmeal to a boil, while stirring. Add the milk and turn the heat down and let simmer for about 15 minutes, occasionally stirring. When the oatmeal has thickened add the butter, raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir to mix. Serve hot.
Serving SizeEnough for 3 yr old, 6 yr old, 8 yr old and 15 year old
