Fried Chicken Dumplings

Fried Chicken Dumplings

Prep time 10 minutes,   Cooking time 15 minutes 

Ingredients

  • 3 large chicken breasts or 1.5 lbs ground chicken
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Dash of black pepper
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup fresh bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying

Serves 3 kids & 2 Adults! 

  1. Dice onion and sauté till lightly browned, remove from pan and let cool
  2. Take 5 slices of bread, dice and process to bread crumbs in food processor
  3. Cut chicken breasts into smaller pieces and grind in food processor
  4. Mix all ingredients together including sautéed onion excluding oil
  5. Heat oil on frying pan (about ¼ inch deep)
  6. Drop chicken mixture (2 tablespoons) as flattened mounds.
  7. Cook till browned, then flip over dumpling and cook until browned.
  8. Keep warm in a 200F oven

Serve with Herbal Rice and Sautéed Carrots.
